So how can we start? Try to think of a few things every day that you are grateful for. Try to enjoy the little things: that first sip of coffee, the smooth creaminess of your yogurt, the warm flow of the heat from the vent, the warm relaxation of sitting down on the couch and pulling a blanket over your legs.

Perhaps start a new tradition by making a thankful pumpkin.

Thankful Pumpkin Activity

About: Tis the season to be thankful. Create a Thankful Pumpkin and write down all the things you are thankful for in your life. Starting at the top of the pumpkin, write down something you are thankful each day leading up to Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving Day, read everything listed on your Thankful Pumpkin.

The dividends you reap from gratitude are far greater than the investment. Try it!
